HEAVEN DEPARTED AS A SCROLL

The photo above shows a roll cloud. These heavenly signs are extremely rare, but they have occurred several times in recent years. I believe these are just one of the signs of the last days.

The Apostle John wrote the Book of Revelation, citing visions and revelations given to him by Jesus Christ concerning the last days and the return of the Lord.

John the Revelator wrote concerning the great tribulation,

“The heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together and every mountain and island were moved out of their places” Revelation 6:14.

Centuries before John, the Prophet Isaiah wrote about some of the same signs that will appear when God’s wrath is poured out upon the earth, preceding the return of the Lord (Isaiah 34). He also wrote of severe storms in the latter days (Isaiah 28:2; 29:6).

Jesus said concerning His return,

“Great earthquakes shall be in diverse places, famines and pestilences and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven” Luke 21:11.

We are already experiencing record-breaking storms and the sounds of shofars blowing and loud booms in these last days, and heavenly signs will intensify as the Day of the Lord draws nearer.

It is not God’s will that anyone should perish (2 Peter 3:9), therefore, God said there will be great signs to warn people of His impending return, and that they should repent of sin and receive the Lord as Savior, before it is too late.
