President
Obama declared a state of emergency in Louisiana yesterday, after
Louisiana's Governor Bobby Jindal requested the declaration and
financial assistance to Louisiana in the wake of hurricane Isaac. The
White House informed Jindal of the decision by phone. The state of
emergency makes federal help available to save lives, and protect the
health, safety and property of citizens. This is something FEMA is
supposed to do in such an emergency anyway.
After the phone
call, Jindal sent a letter to Obama late Monday to thank him for his
declaration, "however, the state's original request for federal
assistance...included a request for reimbursement for all emergency
protective measures. The federal declaration of emergency only provides
for direct federal assistance," reported Fox News.
This
afternoon, Obama made a public speech to residents of Louisiana to heed
warnings issued by government officials, to evacuate and take all
precaution; "this is not a time to tempt fate." It sounded like a
"damage control" statement to me.
If Jindal wants the federal
help the state of Louisiana really needs, he should get a few Muslims in
the neighborhood to make public pleas to Obama, or possibly tell Obama
that several mosques and Muslim families are in the path of hurricane
Isaac. Those announcements are sure to get Obama's attention, but I'm
afraid nothing else will, unless he relents because of the upcoming elections.
In the event you aren't aware of it,
hurricane Isaac is slated to hit the Louisiana coast on exactly the
seven-year anniversary of hurricane Katrina, which hit the Louisiana
coast on August 28, 2005, exactly seven years ago to the day. From a
prophetic standpoint, that doesn't sound good at all, for such a storm
that is. For Christians, it is a great number. It is important to be
on the right side, God's side, of that number 7!
The prophets wrote thousands of years ago about destructive storms hitting the earth in the last days. Isaiah wrote, "Behold, the Lord has a mighty strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand" Isaiah 28:2
The Word of God tells us that,
"The thing that has been is that which shall be, and that which is done
is that which shall be done, and there is no new thing under the sun"
Ecclesiastes 1:9. History tends to repeat itself, at least until
the Lord returns. On top of that, seven is the perfect number of
completion. Isaac is a massive hurricane.
Louisiana has spent
$8 million on some protective measures, but the critical factor is, have
they prayed? Certainly it isn't going to be how much money they have
spent on security alone, which is good, but not "all inclusive." Isaac should be hitting Louisiana about now and I hope they are praying.
They need our prayers too for the safety of God's people there, and for
the salvation and safety of those who don't know the Lord, the base
source of our help in the time of need.

major 7.4 earthquake hit just off shore of El Salvador on Monday,
August 27, 2012,
at 04:37:20 UTC, at a depth of 20.3 km (12.6 mi). A tsunami warning was
issued at approximately 04:45 UTC. Two major (>6.5)
earthquakes have hit in less than 24 hours and the frequency of major

major 6.6 earthquake hit the Molucca Sea on Sunday, August 26, 2012,
at 15:05:37 UTC, at a depth of 91.9 km (57.1 mi). Two major (>6.1)
earthquakes have hit in the last seven days and the frequency of major
quakes continues to climb exponentially throughout the world.
Jesus said these

I
live with it continuously, the "get me out of here" looks, the "let's
change the subject" friends, the "how dare you say that" acquaintances;
people call the truth "fearmongering." How about this for fearmongering:
"When
he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said
to them, 'O generation of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath
to come? Bring forth fruit of repentance" Matthew 3:7-8. John
the Baptist was speaking here to the religious leaders of his day, who
came to his baptism. All of Jerusalem, Judea and Jordan came to him to
be baptized, confessing their sins (verse 6); so here came the religious
leaders, who were "haughty, pious, self righteous, hypocrites" but John
called them snakes and asked them who warned them of the wrath to
come. He basically told them to repent and live a life demonstrative of
repentance. You won't hear that message from the likes of Joel Osteen
today, with his membership of about 40K. If he did preach the truth, his 40,000 congregation would dwindle to possibly about 40!
"If
your hand offends you (causes you to sin), cut it off; it is better for
you to enter into life (eternal life) maimed, than having two hands and
go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched, where their
worm does not die and the fire is not quenched" Mark 9:43-44.
Jesus taught this fact about resisting sin and the penalty of eternal
hell fire to his disciples, yet you will probably never hear a sermon
preached like this one from Rick Warren, with approximately 20K
attending his church. I imagine if he preached sermons after the manner
of Christ, he might end up with a membership of 20! Jesus only had a
membership of 12, but of course, he wasn't preaching for money. He
said, "Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay His head" Matthew 8:20. After Jesus was crucified, He was buried in a borrowed tomb (Matthew 27:58-60).
No, not every preacher who preaches the truth is poor, but in those few
cases, God gave the increase, it wasn't because they compromised the
truth for gain.
Jesus told His disciples, "You will be hated of all men for My name's sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved" Matthew 10:22. Now why do you suppose Jesus said "You will be hated of all men for my name's sake,"
when, in fact, people just flock to the popular preachers today? I'll
give you a little hint. They don't preach the same sermons Jesus
preached! He also said, "Fear not them who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell" Matthew 10:28. Is this fearmongering?
Is
there anyone out there who is inclined to call Jesus, the Son of the
living God, our Lord and Savior, a fearmonger? No? I suppose some
believe they will simply get away with accusing those of us who speak
the truth, as Jesus's disciples. That won't happen, for Jesus also
said, "I say unto you that every idle word that men speak, they will give an account of it on the day of judgment" Matthew 12:36.
If
you are one of those who hate to hear the Word of God which condemns
sin, possibly you should consider why you hate it so much. The truth is
the truth. Jesus also said, "You will know the truth and the truth will make you free" John 8:32.
Hearing the truth should shed light into our hearts about where we
stand with God and if "sin lies at the door," it will either bring us to
our knees in repentance, or cause resentment and bitterness against the
living Word of God, not the messenger. Some people think they resent
the messengers for writing truth, for relaying the Word of God,
as Jesus spoke it; but truly, if you are in that frame of mind, you
don't resent the messengers, you resent GOD Himself. If you find
yourself in that condition, it is amazing how the peace of God will
overwhelm you if you will only surrender to His truth and repent of hateful thoughts against it. Indeed, the truth sets souls free. God bless you.

Jesus
said, "As the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of
man be; for as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating
and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah
entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came and took them
all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be" Matthew
24:37-39. Throughout Matthew chapter 24, Jesus described to His
disciples the signs that would prevail in the last days and signal His
return.
Many of the same signs detailed in Matthew 24, were also
described by Luke. In Luke's account, he quoted Jesus as saying, "When
these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption draws near" Luke 21:28.
Both
Apostles described perils in the last days, such as earthquakes,
famines, pestilences, signs in heaven and on the earth. It is very
noteworthy that Jesus said, "...they were eating and drinking, marrying
and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark..."
Matthew 38. By looking at these chapters, Matthew 24 and Luke 21, it
appears that the world is in great distress and perplexity before the
Lord's return, and in fact, it is in such a state when the Lord returns with His saints.
Jesus said, "When these things BEGIN
to come to pass, look up...your redemption draws near" Luke 21:28.
This is indicative of the fact that we, the saints of God, will be
redeemed when the signs of the tribulation begin. People will
be eating, drinking and marrying, because the full scale of the great
tribulation and wrath of God has not yet fallen upon the earth when we,
God's children, are raptured, or "caught up" (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
When we see the perils begin to come upon the earth, as we do right
now, with record-breaking earthquakes, record-breaking storms, famines
throughout Asia, Africa and other parts of the world, we are to look up,
because our redemption is near - His return for the saints is imminent,
not His return to the earth with the saints after the seven-year tribulation period.
It
will only be the wicked who are left here to endure the wrath of God
and the great tribulation period, not the saints of God. We will return

Tungurahua Volcano
Ecuador's Tungurahua volcano erupted, forcing evacuations as ash falls.
The volcano first erupted over the weekend and vapor and ash ascended
2.5 miles high, which grades a moderate to strong eruption, according to
Ecuador's Geophysics Institute. The ash damaged miles of vegetation, which has affected about 2,000 families in the area.
Mount Tongariro Volcano
New
Zealand's Mount Tongariro erupted two weeks ago and is still active.
The last time the volcano erupted was 115 years ago. Streets were
closed and flights have been disrupted. Gas measurements show there is
magma underneath and the alert level is 1 at this time. Experts said
they were caught by surprise and didn't know Tongariro was going to
erupt.
The Word of God tells us that the world is going to
languish during the last days and that there will be signs in the earth
and in heaven which signal the Lord's return. Jesus said,
"There will be great earthquakes in various places, famines,
pestilences, and fearful sights and there will be great signs from
heaven" Luke 21:11. "I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in
the earth beneath, blood, fire and vapor of smoke" Acts 2:9.
Signs
are appearing throughout the earth, with record-breaking great
earthquakes, volcano eruptions, record breaking storms and floods, and
mass bird, fish and animal deaths. It is all happening before our eyes

The Word of God says, "There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end of it is the way of death" Proverbs 14:12
Many
Christians have become so liberal that they have come to imagine that
because Jesus died for our sins, we have a free ticket to sin and a "get
out of jail free" card from God.
It behooves us to remember that,
"If God did not spare the natural branches (Jews under the old
covenant), take heed that He may also not spare you" Romans 11:21. "Be
not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will
also reap. He who sows to the flesh, will because of his flesh reap
corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap life
everlasting" Galatians 6:7,8.
These are both New Testament scriptures, written after the death of Christ on the cross; they
are not Old Testament, under the law, teachings, and there are plenty
more where that came from, which teach God's people to live a holy
life. Please don't deceive yourself into thinking you can live like the
devil and act like the devil, but enter heaven because you said a
"sinners prayer" one day - ain't gonna happen, folks.
Jesus said, "Truly, truly I say to you, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" John 3:3. Born again = new life, not the old one we were saved out of. "Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature, old things have passed away, behold, all things are new" 2 Corinthians 5:17.
What
Christ's death on the cross meant was that He successfully lived a holy
life in this world, having arrived in the flesh and having been tempted
the same as we are, but He overcame. He came and suffered in the
flesh, not only to pay the price for every man's sins, but also to give
us the power to overcome. This
is what it's all about - not free tickets to get out of jail. If you
have that mentality, you are trampling the blood of Jesus and you will
not be excused; "How
much sorer punishment, do you suppose, shall he be thought worthy, who
has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the
covenant, whereby he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done
despite to the Spirit of grace?" Hebrews 10:29. You may be asking, "Sorer punishment than who?"
The answer to that is, the Jews, God's chosen people, those referred to above as the natural branches. What Hebrews 10:29
is saying is that if God sorely punished the Jews for their
disobedience and idolatry under the Old Covenant, how much sorer
punishment will we receive, if once we have been washed by the blood of
the Holy Son of God, we deliberately return to sinful lifestyles and tread under foot the blood of the Son of God?
Of course, we are capable of sin and error after we get saved, of
course we are not perfect all the time. ** It is one thing to sin on
occasion and repent, but it is another thing entirely to allow sin to
rule and reign in our bodies after we have been delivered and cleansed
by the blood of Christ. ** The Word says, "Let not sin, therefore, reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in lust" Romans 6:12.
If you have a liberal viewpoint on Christianity, please read the book of Romans
prayerfully and you will have to either deny the Word of Truth, or come
to the conclusion that God not only saved us through the sacrificial
blood of His Son, but He also called us out of sin to live sanctified,
holy lives in His presence.
Through Christ, God has empowered us to live holy, "I
can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13.
"Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord,
and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you" 2 Corinthians
6:17. This is New Testament, friends. Let's consecrate
ourselves to God and be the royal priesthood, which God has called us to
be, "You
are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar
people, that you should show forth the praises of Him, who has called
you out of darkness into His marvelous light" 1 Peter 2:9.
Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives..." Luke 4:18. What captives was Jesus referring to? From the Jew's captivity in Egypt (Old Testament) to the captivity of sin's bondage today (dispensation of grace), Jesus was referring to those who are bound by sin - held captive by sin. Donald
Trump interviewed with Fox News journalist Greta Van Susteren
recently. He said our nation is "teetering on financial ruin." Trump
said our national debt is now $16 trillion dollars and our country is no
longer a rich nation and went on to say, "The way Obama is running the
country is stupid."
The Word of God says, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools" Romans 1:22.
Ballooning
debt and a credit downgrade aren't Trump's only worries for this
country. He says that the official unemployment rate of 8.2 percent
"isn't a real number" and that the real figure is closer to 15 to 16
percent. He mentioned that some believe the unemployment rate is as
high as 21 percent, reported MoneyNews.com.
Trump's concerns
and statements are niceties compared to what Robert Wiedemer has to say
about the impending US economic collapse. He accurately predicated the
housing market collapse in 2008 and he has written an "eye-opening" book
Aftershock. Wiedemer predicts
that starting this year and into next year, unemployment rate will begin
to soar to 50 percent. The US dollar has already lost 16 percent of
its value since the book was written.
Robert Wiedemer also
predicts that the worst of the financial catastrophe is still ahead and
we are "past the point of no return." We are headed for a second Great
Depression, according to Wiedemer. He said the data is clear, 50
percent unemployment, a 90 percent stock market drop and 100 percent
annual inflation starting in 2012!
This will all lead to one
planned event, a New World Order. Obama knows about it and this is why
he is deliberately imploding the economy. The Bilderbergs know about it
and that's why they made sure "Obama nobody" suddenly became "Obama
somebody" and made the presidency. The UUN, who I can't help but refer
to as the Useless United Nations, knew about it and their plans are
coming to fruition. The elitists can't get American citizens to give up
their sovereignty and buckle under the control of the UUN, unless we
are financially destitute a---------nd that's where Obama comes in. He
is decisively and deliberately leading America down the path to economic
destruction.
In order to make certain people can't make too
much of a fuss during the US subjugation, he has already given himself
dictatorial power, by way of the National Defense Authorization Act he
signed on New Year's Eve. This gives him, only the president, the
dictatorial power to arrest and detain US citizens indefinitely and without a trial!
We
have always heard of such dictators in China, Russia, North Korea and
the like, but guess what America? It's here! If you knew about all of
the plans they have for America, you would want to pack up your bags and
exit out of here to a "safe haven" somewhere, which is what many of the
wealthy are doing right now. There really isn't a safe haven anywhere,
outside of God's divine protection over His people. This "end game"
plan is going to come crashing down over the entire world, and this is
exactly why you see England, Greece, Spain, Italy and other nations
suffering financial collapse.
A New World Order under a
one world dictator, is prophesied in the Bible and this dictator is
referred to as the Antichrist. He will take control and regulate everything, even your ability to buy and sell, according to Revelation
13:16-18, "He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, bond and
free to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads, that
no man might buy or sell, except he who has the mark, or the name of the
beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has
understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a
man. and his number is six hundred, sixty-six."
The
rapture of the saints and the great tribulation is just ahead of us,

Hundreds
of thousands of teachers have lost their jobs in recent years. Since
the "end of the recession" three years ago, 300,000 educators have lost
their jobs, 7,000 in the last month alone, according to a report the
White House released Saturday.
I
think now would be another prime moment to remind all of you that Obama
sent $770 million in US tax dollars to refurbish Muslim mosques in the
Middle East since his election, a-------nd, he pledged $3 billion
dollars to the Arab Spring nations during the G8 Summit; yes to the (do I
dare say it again?), yes, I will: head-chopping, stoning, honor
killing, bomb wielding, plane hijacking, church burning, Christian
incinerating (alive) Muslim terrorists! Yes, America's teachers are
laid off by the hundreds of thousands, yet our tax dollars are going to
those who enjoy killing us! Please don't misunderstand me. I don't
hate Muslims, I despise what they do in the name of Allah. Make no
mistake about it, according to their faith, they will ultimately convert
us, or kills us - this is their faith. Nevertheless, Muslims who
convert to Christianity are wonderful people and they demonstrate the
love of God toward others.
Actually, many of you don't know it yet, but your children are much
better off. With Obama's appointment of Kevin Jennings to head the
Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools czar, and since Planned Parenthood has been
in charge of sex education in the public schools, your small children are receiving an X rated education. Yes, it's that bad!
This agenda falls right in line with the elitists' New World Order, and
their plans to depopulate the world. What better way than to promote
homosexuality (no procreation) and abortions, which is the "life's
blood" of Planned Parenthood.
Jennings,
Obama's "safe schools czar," founded the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight
Education Network (GLSEN), which now has over 40 chapters at public
schools nationwide, promoting homosexuality in the schools. He has also
published six books on gay rights and education, including one that
describes his own experiences as a closeted gay student. He also spoke
on one occasion about having counseled a 15-year-old student, who
confided in him that he met an older man in the bathroom of a bus
station and went home with him. Jennings said he told the boy he hoped
they used a condom! He never even reported the molestation to the
proper authorities. This is the man Obama selected to head "safe
schools," which reminds me of the "fox watching the hen house." The

loves homosexuals and His Son Jesus died for their sins, as well as mine.
Homosexuality is a progressive lifestyle, which starts with lustful
thoughts, according to God's Word (Romans 1:21), then progresses to turning reprobate (without conscience, without hope, Romans 1:28),
if left unrepented. If you have been deceived into this lifestyle,
won't you receive Jesus as your Savior and turn away from it before it

(excerpts): Media bias consists of more than just partial quotes,
deliberate misreporting and economy with the truth. Doubt that, and
read the New York Times last
week reporting - on page one - "US Reliance on Saudi Oil Goes Back Up:
Security Concerns Rise with Gulf Imports." If you think this has
anything to do with the president's decision to veto the Keystone
Pipeline, think again, or look for a more balanced report.
It
seems that our imports from Saudi Arabia are rising, from 1.9 million
barrels per day in December to 2.6 million barrels in May, and now
constitute 23 percent of total imports, compared with some 17 percent in
December.
"The potential for an obstruction for the Strait of
Hormuz therefore poses a physical threat to US supply, as well as a
potential price shock on a global level," says no less an authority than
David Goldwyn, identified as former State Department coordinator for
international economic affairs in the Obama administration.
And
why are we taking on this added risk? It seems our refineries operate
on heavy crude of the type produced by Saudi Arabia, a type also
available from Mexico, Venezuela, Canada, but not from new US domestic
producing areas, which produce lighter crudes. Production in Mexico and
Venezuela is declining, which leaves Canada.
"Several oil
refining companies have found it necessary to buy more crude from Saudi
Arabia and Kuwait to make up for declining production in Mexico and
Venezuela, insufficient pipeline connections between the United States
and Canadian oil sands fields...There is not enough pipeline capacity to
get all that the Gulf refineries want to buy to their facilities."
Adding
to the problem is that the moratorium on drilling in the Gulf of Mexico
has cut production there by 700,000 barrels per day, the exact amount
of our increased imports from Saudi Arabia, which the New York Times says,
"...faces its own challenges...making the stability of Saudi energy and political policies uncertain."
So
we are replacing safe Canadian and US Gulf Coast supplies with
increased imports from one of the most volatile regions in the world.
Here's the fun part. Nowhere in this long, detailed story is there any
mention of the facts that the Obama administration ordered the Gulf of
Mexico drilling moratorium, and refused to allow the construction of the
Keystone Pipeline to bring oil from Canada's oil sands, the type that
could replace Saudi oil to our refineries. Not a sentence - not a
word.
Commentary: Obama has a "duty to those who help him stay
in power" and our nation is being duped, and more duped, by the Obama
administration, which is on a surging course to bring this nation
economically and socially to her knees, in order to "even things out"
with the rest of the world, by their way of thinking. If you believe
