Dolphins began stranding themselves in early January, said Michael Booth, a spokesman for the International Fund for Animal Welfare, an organization leading a rescue effort in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, reported CNN U.S.  The number of dolphin deaths on Cape Cod rose Friday to 103.  The beachings have puzzled investigators. 

The Bible tells us that in the last days animals will die and languish, "The land will mourn and everyone that dwells in it will languish, with the bests of the field, the fowls of heaven, yes, the fishes of the sea will also be taken away" Hosea 4:3.  God built a "sixth sense" into animals.  People have observed that animals react early before earthquakes and disasters.  I have had pets that were depressed when I felt down, so I know this is true.  My son had a kitten after his bowel perforated from Crohn's disease.  While he was recuperating, the kitten was so dedicated to him, she wouldn't leave his side.  Within months, the kitten became ill and was diagnosed with exactly the same type of illness as Crohn's disease. 

The Word of God says that the consequences of sin is death, "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 6:23.  The mass animal deaths we are seeing throughout the world are a consequence of the sins of mankind that are being felt worldwide and within the animal kingdom.  The answer is to turn away from sin and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior.  If you haven't done so already, please visit the How Can I Be Saved page of this website.  God bless you.
