UK PATIENTS OVER 75 BEING ASKED TO SIGN OFF IF THEY ARE READY TO DIE

Doctors in the United Kingdom are being urged to draw up end-of-life plans for patients over 75, and for those who have debilitating diseases. Doctors have been told to ask all patients over the age of 75 if they will sign a “Do Not Resuscitate” order during doctor’s visits.

This is extremely out of line and demonstrates callous disregard for the feelings of the sick and aged.

Five days ago, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that 18 children died in the US so far this year of the flu.  They also said, this is expected to be one of the worst flu outbreaks in 10 years. 

According to New York Daily News, there have already been 15,000 flu cases reported this season.
